Machinist
- Responsible for learning and performing set up and basic operation on a lathe or mill
Job Duties:
- Follow written instructions and blue prints to cut to dimensions required
- Perform multiple and complex setups for a variety of machining operations
- Set/install cutting tools
- Operates conventional powered lathe or mill to turn, drill or mill to cut metal to specified shapes
- Visually checks completed work using micrometers, calipers, tape measures etc
- Stages work into cart or other designated area
- Delivers cut parts to designated areas
Requirements:
- 6 months-1 year experience in machining, metal cutting, fabricating, or similar work
$15.00-$18.00/hr
